THE TOGA PARTY...

Every September, the toga party promises to be an interesting drunkfest with lots of friends and the always random people that no one seems to know (to say the least). I have been present for the last three toga paties now, and in my opinion, they just keep getting better!
It is interesting to think of all the people who have been at all the toga parties, and I think (correct me if I'm wrong) Jodi, Matt, Chris, and I are the only people that were there this year, that had been at the two (or three) previous. Not that it matters, I was just thinking.

This years toga party
had a few fun additions. One being the presence of the hot tub, and although it was damn near freezing, there were a lot of people who seemed to be in that tub for the entire night. I'd say pretty much everyone had a turn in it and there were a lot of good times had.

Of course no party would be complete without the ever exciting (and sometimes embarrassing) sociables. Included in sociables would be truth or dare and never ever (why do I always have to drink in that game?) Poor Chirs was the subject of many insults and passes on his sister (Chris, your sister is hot!) but I'm pretty sure he was too loaded to know what was going on, or to remember it afterwards. Not as many clothes were removed this time, but I guess when you're only wearing a toga, you can't really take of much! And lets not forget the dares: Matt, in his boxers, having to run outside, jump into the hot tub, and then into the 4 degree cold pool. Tanelle having to pose on Chris' car. Me somehow ending up in Chris' bed with his "blankie" and "Coco", I was laughing so hard I was crying! Matt, reinacting the infamous "Chris giving it to Bill Gates stove fuck". And many instances of people dancing with or without props around the room.

Oh, and we mustn't forget the boob pictures! (of both men and women)

Between Dani and I, there are many exciting and discriminating pictures! Mine are posted on My MSN Space and Dani's are on her Blog.

I am glad that the toga party, once again, was a great success and most importantly, we all had a blast and no one got hurt (except Chris but that is his own dumb fault for trying to break up a block of ice with his forehead). We saw a great array of people in and out through out the night, and we had lots of drinks, food, and two birthday cakes (Happy b-day's Jodi and Esther).

What more could you ask for in a party?

YAY RANDOMNESS!

Just cause I'm bored and procrastinating as usual, here are some random thoughts for the day....

Random Quote:

"Wayne: Garth, marriage is punishment for shoplifting in some countries!" (from Wayne's world)

Random, uneducated thoughts swirling around BP's has created a new question: What is the most useless super power?
Here are a few so far:
Kim: The ablility to give yourself cancer
Matt: The ability to become weightless, but only under water
Me: The ability to turn water into gasoline, but only when you're on fire!

Random (and lame) pick up line:

Screw me if I am wrong, but haven't we met before?

Random (and best) signage:

Here's a random test:

I Are Elmo

Sweet and innocent, you expect everyone to adore you. And they usually do!

You are usually feeling: Talkative. You've got tons of stories to tell. And when you aren't talking, you're laughing.

You are famous for: Being popular, though no one knows why. Middle aged women especially like you.

How you life your life: With an open heart. "Elmo loves you!"

Some random info about me

I like pickles
I have enough clothes to clothe a small third world country
Brad and I renamed Jodi's cat Bailey "Tubs"
I consider Cosmo to be my bible
I like to do everything at the last possible moment, it's more thrilling that way
I skipped class today to post this blog...priorities man!

And finally, the some random thoughts (I truely need to get a life)...

Why'd that stop sign just wink at me and run across the street and hide in the bushes?

<--- Add your own random thought.
Say whatever you like!
cockmaster!

A lesbian named Marold likes your leaf blower.

If someone is shot by Dick Cheney in the woods when no one is around, is it an accident?

Cheers :P

Insights in the first week of school...

I never cease to amaze myself

After only four days of school, and hardly even that, I am already begining to find reasons and justifications to miss classes. It's funny, in theory, I love school and I love Psychology, but the second things go from "oh that class would be interesting" to "shit, I have work to do" I loose all intrest. It's like I've always been, if there is anything I have to do, I suddenly do not want to do it, regardless of what it may be. Is it just that after years of defying authority and living by my own terms that I know no other way?
So far my "gold star attendance" is at a record 4 days. As I sit here on my computer, in my pj's, drinking coffee baily's, at 8:45am, I am seriously debating whether or not I am going to class for 11.
When I was registering for my classes, I opted to start later this year because last year I often missed morning classes after working at BP's until late the previous night. However, even that plan backfired becuase rather than being less-likely to sleep in, I get up earlier , but by the time I am to be getting ready to leave, my body thinks that I have the day off or something (because I've been lying around for hours) and I find it even harder to get going then had I had an earlier class.

I am damned if I do, and I am damned if I don't!

For the last almost year, I have been trying to find reasons and plans to increse attendance and motivate me to go to class but the problem is, I am not willing to sacrifice anything to work towards gaining it!
It's like there is a battle between my mind and body; I know that I really should go to class, after all it ends up being less work in the long run, but even as I get ready for school, suddenly I find my body sitting down and before I know it I hardley have time to get out the door!
I know that my success in school will be reflected by the effort I put in to it, and so far, I have had a passive, half-assed attempt at it.

The sad thing is, that once I feel the pressures of deadlines and exams I will find some much needed energy to get moving but right now I still feel in limbo. Even though I have a midterm in 8 days, I don't feel as if I need to be doing anything yet......What is wrong with me?!!

A note to all: Here is what happens when I am not allowed to have a nap!!!Sorry, couldn't resist that picture...it's my Mommy's favorite.
Ok, that was the overworked, moody, pre-holiday Gina. My first day on the houseboat and I was yet to have been able to sleep more than 5 hours at a time. I really needed a nap but everyone was too loud!!!
Once I had a few drinks, as per usual, I was good to go again.
Cue "after" pic:

All in all, Brad and my holiday was great. We did a little of everything, and after making our rounds of the Okanagan's finest wineries could almost be considered "connoisseurs". It was really nice to see friends and family that I don't see nearly often enough, and it was especially nice to have 2 weeks without having to worry about work (all though we really didn't get to sleep in!)
As I have hardley had time to unpack from our holiday and prepare for school, I don't really have time to go into detail about out trip. To find pictures and a little comentary on them visit My MSN Page.
Ta Ta for now.....

Thanx for visiting!!!
